"Noordeinde" in The Hague is one of the three palaces placed at the disposal of the Queen of the Netherlands by a decision of the Parliament. The office of the Dutch Queen Beatrix is housed in the "Noordeinde" palace. It was built in the 16th century according to a project by Jakob van Kampen and Pieter Post, but every century it underwent significant corrections, and in many cases, with each successive renovation, the traces of the previous ones were erased. Very often, during their visits to the Netherlands, heads of state and other high-ranking official guests of the country stay here.
